Overview

Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross‑sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic computerized tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups, including neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT examinations in accordance with all standards and protocols.
• Provide patient care to all age groups, including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics.
• Work under the direct guidance of a supervising radiologist.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA‑approved radiologic technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital‑based training program.
• Certified by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT).
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R).
• BLS certified.
• Preferred: 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist.
