Pharmacy Manager - $20,000 Sign On Bonus

Performs duties of distribution, documentation and compounding related to drugs, solutions and equipment to meet the needs of patients and staff. Responsible for reviewing, compounding, dispensing and monitoring medication therapy for infants, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, including dosing variations, nutritional needs, and disease states associated with the various age groups. Supervises pharmacy technician activities, monitoring all orders filled by auxiliary personnel.

Assumes responsibility for competency and self-development in professional pharmacy practice. Performs patient-focused care clinical activities throughout the hospital to provide optimal medication therapy.

Perform duties of distribution, documentation and compounding related to drugs, solutions and equipment. Review, compound, dispense, and monitor medication therapy across all age groups. Supervise pharmacy technicians and monitor all orders. Lead competency and self-development initiatives. Provide patient-focused clinical care throughout the hospital.

• Education – Bachelor’s Degree;
  Graduate of an ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy with a Bachelor’s or higher in Pharmacy (Required).
• Work Experience – NA (Required);
  Hospital pharmacy experience Preferred.
• Licenses and Certifications – Licensed as a registered pharmacist in the state of Georgia (Required).
