CT Technologist (PRN) – Surgery Partners, Inc
Employee will be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology, a Registered Technologist (RT) with a minimum of one year experience in diagnostic radiology, and will hold a current certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation).
As a CT Technologist, you will operate CT imaging equipment to produce high‑quality images of designated body portions for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in an outpatient setting.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities- Review physician orders and obtain pertinent medical information to identify the reason for the exam
- Thoroughly explain the procedure to the patient
- Select the appropriate position for each patient
- Organize images, perform the scan, and transfer images to the PACS system
- Report all potential issues with equipment to the Chief Technologist
- Practice proper safety techniques in accordance with departmental policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
- Provide clear information and education to patients
- Anticipate and respond promptly to the needs and requests of patients and/or staff
- Demonstrate respect and courtesy to others
- Demonstrate professionalism at all times
- Be able to problem solve

- Create and maintain a calm environment
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
- Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with at least one year of experience in diagnostic radiology
- Current CPR (cardio pulmonary resuscitation) certification
