The Kay Shell Montessori School was founded to provide an enriching and nurturing environment for students to grow, learn, and develop creativity. The years from 15 months to 6 are a pivotal time for children, and our school is committed to supporting their exploration, discovery, and development.

Role Description

This full-time, on-site role of Montessori Teacher - Pre-Primary - Toddler Teacher is based in Newnan, GA and starts in June of 2026. The teacher will be responsible for fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment that aligns with the Montessori method. Daily tasks include preparing and delivering engaging lessons, maintaining a structured and safe classroom, observing and assessing student development, and facilitating hands-on learning activities.

Collaboration with colleagues, communication with parents, and active participation in creating a positive school community are also central to this role.

Qualifications
  • Expertise in Lesson Planning and Teaching methodologies
  • Experience in Education and Training young children, preferably aligned with the Montessori approach
  • Excellent Communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Montessori certification and prior experience as a Montessori teacher are highly desirable
  • Patience, creativity, and a passion for early childhood development
  • Ability to contribute to a collaborative and enriching educational environment
  • Relevant degree or qualification in Education or Early Childhood Development
