205 Day Calendar $16.41 an hour

• Greet visitors courteously; determine their needs and direct or escort them to the proper person.
• Receive and route incoming calls, answer questions of callers, and take messages for staff members.
• Assist in preparing reports, type from copy, rough draft or detailed instructions.
• Open and distribute mail.
• Operate copy machine, computer equipment and fax machine.
• Maintain files.
• Comply with any reasonable oral or written directive of the school principal or other appropriate school staff.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality required.

Minimum high school diploma, appropriate clerical and business training/experience.

• Word processing and spreadsheet skills.
• Knowledge of a variety of office equipment and procedures.
• Practical knowledge of business English, general vocabulary, spelling, and modern office practices.
• Ability to maintain clerical and confidential records.
• Sound interpersonal skills to meet and deal with the general public, peers and supervisors in an effective and tactful manner.
• Willingness to expand knowledge and skills.
• Other reasonable duties as assigned by Principal or Administrator.

Two (2) years acceptable clerical experience preferred.
