Salary: From £31,300 to £38,170 per annum

OVERVIEWIn this role you will be deputising for the retail Store Manager. You will be responsible for ensuring the whole retail store is managed effectively and will need to lead a team in an environment focused on quality, service and availability. To be successful you will need a genuine passion for retail and customer service, excellent leadership and coaching skills, an enthusiastic and energetic approach, and the ability to prioritise role of retail Assistant Manager is all about developing a motivated, focused team that puts the customer at the heart of everything you do.

– KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Managing, coaching and developing a team
- Ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient use of the team and driving store standards and availability
- Leading and managing the retail store team
- Ensuring the store complies with all health and safety procedures
- Motivating, training and developing staff, identifying development needs and future stars
- Planning and prioritising all store operational tasks to achieve excellence
- Managing and overseeing all necessary store administration
- Managing stock movement, freshness, store availability and stock integrity
- Driving the store to meet and exceed all targets
- Deputising for the Store Manager and executing all company instructions
- Understanding the customer of your store, anticipating their needs and ensuring “best in class” customer service
- Ensuring staff levels are adequate to achieve core business day‑to‑day goals and meet customer expectations
- Managing the overall replenishment process

- Experience in retail or food retail management is an advantage; hospitality, leisure or retail management experience is also considered
