17.25 hours per week, over 3 days, 38 weeks per year (full time considered, additional hours may be available if part‑time).

Job Description

All Saints CE Primary School are seeking a motivated, dedicated, and experienced Teaching Assistant who would take on or work towards Higher‑Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) responsibilities, to join our supportive and dynamic team. You will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school, taking responsibility for delivering high‑quality lessons and interventions under the guidance of lead teachers.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the curriculum, taking full responsibility for small groups or whole classes as required.
  • Support students’ learning and development, including those with SEND.
  • Assist in assessing, recording and reporting students’ progress.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively and promote a positive, inclusive learning environment.
You will need
  • An HLTA accreditation or Level 4 Teaching Assistant qualification (or willingness to work towards this qualification).
  • Experience of working with children in a school setting, preferably across multiple key stages.
  • Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to high standards of safeguarding, inclusion, and child development.
