- At least two years of security experience in a team lead role (asset)
- Post-secondary education in law enforcement/security
- Knowledge of Trespass to Property Act and Mental Health Act
- Excellent communication skills
- Punctuality, reliability, tact, diplomacy
- Ability to travel between hospital sites and conduct interviews, evaluations, reviews
- Experience with security equipment, incident reports, audits, threat assessments
- Ability to manage budgets and perform security inspections
- Proof of education and training at the time of interview
- Flexible work schedule
- Minimum 2 years healthcare supervisory experience
- Post-secondary in Police Foundation
- Knowledge of software applications
- Ability to perform under pressure
- Training in labor relations
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills

Southlake Regional Health Centre, formerly York Regional Hospital, is a full-service hospital with a clinically advanced focus. It provides care to over 1 million residents in York Region, Simcoe County, and as far north as Muskoka. The hospital has grown into a university-affiliated teaching and research facility, offering advanced cardiac, cancer, and thoracic care.
The Security Supervisor supervises activities and job performance of Security Guards across the facility and represents Paladin Security Group and the hospital.
