Overnight Floor Houseperson; Part-Time

This position plays a key role in the housekeeping department, working as a team member to ensure all tasks are completed before a shift end in the hotel.

• Cleaning designated areas including, but not limited to, restrooms, public areas, offices, and banquet rooms, sweeping / general cleaning of exterior building perimeter;
• Perform tasks including, but not limited to, dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, and shampooing carpets, washing windows, cleaning/waxing floors, removing and disposing of trash
• Greet guests in a friendly manner;
• Report maintenance deficiencies and items in need of repair;
• Stock and maintain supplies, as needed;
• Perform deep cleaning tasks and special projects (for example mattress flipping, furniture moves, etc.), as needed;
• Deliver guest requests and assist in cleaning guest rooms, as needed;
• Assisting room attendants by removing dirty linen and garbage from their carts;
• Assisting in robe and linen inventories;
• Comply with all Archive standards, policies and procedures at all times.
• Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management

• 1-2 years minimum experience in banquet/restaurant/bar/and hotel
• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol
• Must be Smart Serve certified
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a high volume environment
• The ability to remain calm in stressful situations
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including mandatory availability over weekends.
• Open to working on different shifts including weekends, and holidays.
