This is a Direct Placement/Temp-to-Hire position with our key Manufacturing client. To be considered for this role, you will need to include the degree and years of experience required.

Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret applicable mechanical drawings and specifications.
  • Select and utilize inspection equipment to perform the required inspection and testing. Complete inspection reports as required.
  • Perform Receiving, In-process, and Final Inspection on customer supplied and/or purchased components/materials.
  • Perform Quality In-Process Audits as required by approved work instructions.
  • Monitor the production process for compliance with all Quality, Manufacturing, and Engineering work instructions and specifications.
  • Check all Measurement and Test Equipment used for acceptable condition and adherence to Calibration work instructions.
  • Assist other company functions in meeting customer requirements.
  • Willing to cross-train across other in-shop disciplines/inspection disciplines.
  • Willingness to work with shop personnel to induct incoming parts and aid in the expeditious shipment of critical parts.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years relevant Aerospace Parts Inspection experience
  • Prior aerospace manufacturing experience preferred
  • Knowledgeable in the use of measuring instruments and equipment, including calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, etc.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and understand drawings and other technical documents
  • Good communication skills
  • Possess strong organizational and attention to detail skills
  • Demonstrates initiative and ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Ability to work under pressure in meeting time schedules
  • Ability to work effectively with employees
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task, good communication skills
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
  • Adaptability to different inspection methods
