Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) – Full-Time (Mon–Thurs), Newington, CT Accepting Applications.

East Cedar Dental is a privately owned, patient-centered general dental practice in Newington, CT. We focus on high-quality, ethical care in a calm, respectful environment. Our office is small by design, organized, and efficient, allowing us to provide personalized care while maintaining a steady and predictable workflow. We believe a positive workplace is built on clear communication, mutual respect, reliability, and shared responsibility for patient care.

We are seeking a compassionate, professional Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team full-time (Monday–Thursday). Hygiene appointments are one hour, and you will have the instruments, support, and autonomy needed to provide excellent patient care. Our hygienists work independently during much of the day, with support readily available as needed.

• Communicates clearly and promptly, especially regarding scheduling or unexpected circumstances
• Understands the importance of consistency and reliability for patients
• Is comfortable working independently while being part of a collaborative team
• Values professionalism, accountability, and patient-centered care
• Is open to discussing concerns directly rather than letting issues build

This practice runs smoothly because everyone contributes to maintaining the daily flow, including shared responsibility for opening/closing and keeping the workspace organized.

• Active Connecticut RDH license
• Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
• Professional communication style
• Dependable and organized
• Experience preferred, but strong new graduates with the right mindset are welcome to apply
