The Office of Community Development, within the Department of Economic and Community Development, administers capital funding grants through various state funding streams including Urban Act and the Community Investment Fund 2030 (CIF). The Assistant Economic Community Development Agent will work in outreach, grant application review, and contracting for state‑funded capital grant projects.

Qualifications & Requirements- Five (5) years of experience in corporate marketing and business development or business experience including residential and/or commercial financing, leveraging financing, strategic planning, financial planning and analysis, or project management in industrial, environmental, housing or community development, including public financing or urban planning and development.
- College training may be substituted for the General Experience on the basis of fifteen (15) semester hours equaling one‑half (1/2) year of experience, to a maximum of four (4) years for a Bachelor’s degree.
- A Master’s degree in a closely related field may be substituted for one (1) additional year of the General Experience.
