Pay Range:
Corsicana Mattress Company provides a range of $17.00/hr - $40.00/hr based on skills and experience. Your actual pay will be discussed with your recruiter.

The Production Assistant assists the Plant Manager with day‑to‑day administrative operations, HR activities, plant inventories, customer communications, safety monitoring, and other essential functions.

Essential Functions
  • Manage the reception area for effective telephone and mail communications.
  • Assist with filing, payroll, and other HR duties.
  • Support the Plant Manager with daily reporting, documentation, payroll, and recordkeeping.
  • Troubleshoot issues and conflicts as they arise.
  • Order office supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with all plant and corporate staff.
  • Administer pre‑employment testing and hiring activities (ex. drug screening, orientation, safety training).
  • Process new hires and other HR functions.
  • Assist employees with Paycom issues.
  • Work closely with Corporate Human Resources on HR and disciplinary matters.
  • Coordinate interviews with the Plant Manager.
  • Print schedules, sort lists, labels, and BOLs daily.
  • Assist with customer pickups and confirmation calls.
  • Provide ready times and coordinate with the Scheduler.
  • Enter data as required.
  • Process paperwork from drivers, track shorts or returns, and document properly.
  • Assist with Proof of Deliveries, maintaining spreadsheets and Docu Ware uploads.
  • Support safety monitoring, monthly training, GAP audit support, and injury reporting.
  • Assist with physical inventory data entry and counting.
  • Track attendance and upload documentation to Paycom.
  • Assist with employee mattress orders.
  • Coordinate monthly employee engagement (birthdays, anniversaries).
  • Perform other duties as required.
