Senior Accountant

A well‑established organization is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to play a key role within the finance team. This position is ideal for someone with strong technical accounting skills, excellent analytical abilities, and a proactive mindset. Public Accounting experience is strongly preferred and will be considered a significant advantage in this role.

• Lead components of the month‑end and year‑end close processes
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Assist in preparing monthly financial statements, variance analysis, and management reporting
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls across accounting functions
• Support audit preparation and liaise with external auditors as needed
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
• Support process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Partner cross‑functionally with operations, HR, and leadership teams to ensure accurate reporting

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3–5+ years of accounting experience;
  Public Accounting background strongly preferred
• Solid understanding of GAAP and internal controls
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, modeling)
• Experience with modern accounting software (Net Suite, Quick Books, Sage, etc.)
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
