Our client, a prominent player in public services, is on the lookout for a dedicated Class 2 Refuse Driver to join their dynamic team in Warrington.   Just a 9-minute walk from Warrington Central train station, our office is easily accessible.
• Impactful Work:
  Play a vital role in waste management and contribute to a cleaner, greener community.
• Supportive Team:
  Work alongside friendly Recycling/Refuse Loaders and be part of a collaborative environment.

• Assist Recycling/Refuse Loaders in the collection and disposal of waste efficiently.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks in compliance with Operators Licence requirements.
• Submit necessary record sheets weekly to ensure smooth operations.
• Report any vehicle defects or safety concerns promptly to the Vehicle Fleet Management service.
• Undertake routine vehicle maintenance to comply with the Road Traffic Act and minimize breakdowns.
• Operate the vehicle effectively to meet collection targets, improve recycling rates, and address any community complaints or access issues.
• Load and unload heavy loads onto the bin wagon with care.

• A valid Class 2 driving licence and CPC qualification.
• Proven experience as a Class 2 Driver, preferably in refuse collection or a related field.
• Strong references from the last two years.
• An updated CV showcasing your skills and experience.
