With over 20 years of experience, the National Fostering Group is the largest independent children’s fostering group in the UK with a community of over 2,500 foster carers.
The RoleAs a member of our team of social workers you will help vulnerable children and young people find a foster home that transforms their future. You will supervise and advise foster carers, and ensure both carers and children receive the support they need to thrive. You will visit homes, keep in touch with carers and young people, and act as a safeguarding champion.
Caseloads are kept low to allow more bespoke, person‑centric focus, giving you time to work closely with each party to deliver the best outcomes. You will also collaborate with specialist clinical teams to arrange support such as occupational therapy, art therapy, and clinicians with specialisms in trauma and attachment theory. Your contributions will help maintain the high standards of care and keep children safe and secure.
