We are proudly representing our client in their search for an experienced Electronics Technician to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and hands‑on professional with a passion for precision, problem‑solving, and continuous improvement.

You’ll play a vital role in maintaining and repairing a range of electronic equipment, ensuring all systems perform to the highest standards of quality and reliability.

The Job You’ll Do:
  • Carry out repair and maintenance of electronic assemblies and printed circuit boards (PCBs).
  • Use soldering and rework techniques to service and refurbish electronic components.
  • Read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics to support fault diagnosis and repair.
  • Troubleshoot issues at the component level using test equipment and diagnostic tools.
  • Apply knowledge of components including SMT/SMD, PTH, and other key electronic parts.
  • Maintain detailed records of all repair and maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support technical projects and meet operational deadlines.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards.
About You:
  • Adopts a detail‑oriented and methodical approach to fault‑finding and repair.
  • Possesses strong technical understanding of electronics, circuits, and component‑level troubleshooting.
  • Hands‑on experience using test instruments and hand tools.
  • Exhibits excellent problem‑solving skills and a proactive attitude to continual improvement.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with a team.
  • A qualification in Electronics or a related technical field (degree or diploma preferred).
  • Previous experience in an electronic repair or maintenance role (minimum 3 years desirable).
  • A valid UK driving licence is preferred.
