Salary: £38,000 basic + OT and on‑call payment. Mon‑Fri 40 hrs per week. Overtime available. On‑call 1 in 4/6 £ 100 standby payment. Vehicle supplied with personal use.

We are recruiting for a maintenance electrician completing PPM and reactive maintenance across multiple facility types in the Newcastle area. You will be expected to have good all‑round knowledge of other FM disciplines and general maintenance. The role is a permanent position paying circa £38,000 basic.

• Complete electrical maintenance across commercial grade facilities.
• Undertake planned and reactive maintenance tasks on electrical systems.
• Cover all maintenance of lighting, emergency systems, building services plant room electrical systems.
• Complete PPMs in line with SLA and KPI agreements.
• Respond to Helpdesk requests, providing a professional and timely service.
• Support the other members of the maintenance team with ad‑hoc tasks across all disciplines.
• Perform basic mechanical and fabric tasks where required.
• Conduct compliance checks.
• Handle small works projects.

• Recognised professional engineering qualification, Level 3.
• Willingness to complete general building services and plant maintenance.
• Experience of building maintenance within a commercial environment.
• Must be presentable and reliable.
• Valid driving licence.
