Business Development Manager

Up to £60,000 + Uncapped Commission (paid from £1 for lifetime of the account)

I’m currently working with a well‑established, internationally recognised freight forwarding and supply chain business with a strong UK presence and a global network spanning Europe, Asia, and North America.

This organisation combines the scale and capability of a major operator with the agility and service focus of a privately led business. With continued investment in its UK commercial function, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Business Development Manager to drive new business growth across Air, Sea, and Road Freight.

• Generating new business across Air, Sea, and Road Freight
• Targeting SME and mid‑market importers/exporters with tailored logistics solutions
• Prospecting through cold outreach, warm leads, and existing industry contacts
• Building long‑term, consultative relationships with decision‑makers
• Identifying cross‑sell opportunities across wider supply chain services
• Working closely with operations to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing service excellence

• Basic salary up to £60,000
• Uncapped commission paid from the first £1 billed
• Commission paid for the lifetime of the account
• 28 days holiday + bank holidays

• Proven experience selling Air, Sea, and Road Freight
• A strong track record in new business generation
• Confident opener of doors and builder of long‑term relationships
