Base pay range About the Role:Vettio is hiring on behalf of a client operating in the fresh produce sector. The client is looking for a Demand Associate to grow and manage demand across key London wholesale markets. This role suits someone who already operates within fresh produce ecosystems and has strong, trusted relationships with retailers and wholesalers. You will be responsible for building demand, strengthening commercial relationships, and expanding the client’s footprint within London’s fresh produce markets.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive sales and business development across London fresh produce markets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers, wholesalers, and Horace customers
- Leverage an existing network within markets such as Spitalfields Market and Western Market
- Act as a trusted commercial partner to customers, understanding their sourcing and purchasing needs
- Represent the business professionally within the fresh produce community
- Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, in line with market activity
Experience and Skills:
- Minimum five years of professional experience in fresh produce sales or business development
- Strong existing network within London fresh produce markets
- Established relationships with retailers and wholesalers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working independently in a remote role while remaining market focused
- Fully remote
- Strong focus on candidates active within London markets, particularly Spitalfields and Western Market
- £30,000 per year, approximately £2,800 to £2,900 per month
