The successful candidate should have managerial experience within the high-volume convenience retail industry, preferably in a forecourt environment. Responsibilities of the Store Manager
  • To drive sales, service, productivity and maintain excellent standards throughout the store.
  • Responsible for managing all aspects of the day-to-day business operations of the service station, ensuring the team is motivated, objectives are achieved and that standards are high throughout the store.
  • Growing existing business and initiating improvements, ensuring sales, margin and other assigned targets are achieved.
  • To ensure that the store’s management team are trained appropriately and to the highest standard.
  • Dealing with staffing issues which will include on-boarding and termination processes, recruitment, and selection, conducting appraisals and performance reviews.
  • To ensure that merchandising and presentation of store is always of the highest standard.
  • To ensure that you and your team are up to date on all Health & Safety, HACCP and other legal requirements and implement these within the store.
  • Driving the Corrib Oil Values through ensuring the delivery of Olympic gold standard customer service.
  • Demonstrating accuracy and punctuality with all reporting
  • Practicing excellent stock control and management processes

  • Proven ability in managing retail sales teams.
  • Planning and organising capabilities.
  • Excellent operational knowledge of retail environment
  • Excellent interpersonal relations
  • Excellent understanding of consumer needs and commitment to store standards.
  • Proven track record in achieving agreed KPI’s and targets.
  • Self-motivated and an excellent team motivator
  • The ability to work in a pressurised environment.
