Locum Vet Surgeon

We are seeking a dedicated Locum Veterinary Surgeon to join our practice in Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear on a temporary basis. This role is available from 8th October 2024 to 31st January 2025
, requiring a commitment of five days per week. The position involves providing consultations, performing surgeries, and delivering exceptional patient care in a supportive and well-equipped environment.

• Conduct consultations and diagnose a wide range of small animal conditions.
• Perform routine surgeries and provide ongoing patient care.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding their pets health and treatment plans.
• Work closely with the veterinary team to maintain high standards of clinical care.
• Maintain accurate and thorough medical records.

• MRCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon.
• Previous experience in small animal practice preferred.
• Strong diagnostic, surgical, and consultation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
