About the RoleWe are looking for a highly motivated Paid Social Account Manager to help grow OMD UK’s Agile Activation Unit. As a key member of this highly visible team, you will support the Business Director lead in managing resources allocated to our most critical accounts during key seasonal demand periods, annual planning briefs, new business wins, holiday cover, and other high‑priority situations.
We expect you to bring strong technical abilities, client‑facing experience and a track record of managing a team in a fast‑paced environment. You will work with some of the most innovative brands in the industry alongside award‑winning specialist teams. This role requires first‑class core craft expertise, critical problem‑solving skills, and a keen eye for detail to deliver rapid and effective solutions.
Responsibilities- Support the Business Director in resource management for high‑priority accounts during seasonal demand periods, annual planning briefs, new business wins, holiday cover, and other situations.
- Deliver rapid, effective Paid Social solutions using first‑class core craft expertise.
- Lead and mentor a team, ensuring high performance in a fast‑paced environment.
- Engage directly with clients to deliver exceptional service and maintain strong relationships.
- Strong technical expertise in Paid Social platforms and tactics.
- Proven client‑facing experience and ability to manage expectations.
- Track record of successful team management and delivery under tight deadlines.
- Critical problem‑solving ability and meticulous attention to detail.
- First‑class core craft expertise in paid media campaigns.
- Hybrid working model: three days in the office, two days remote.
- Flexible core hours (10:30 – 16:30) with options to adjust start and finish times.

Over the next three years OMG will be building a 170‑person operation in Newcastle.
