Job DescriptionThe CAD/Mac Operator will be responsible for managing Mac-based production workflows while supporting design, planning, and pre-press activities within the business. This role requires a combination of technical knowledge, accuracy, and the ability to work efficiently under production deadlines.
The CAD/Mac Operator will operate workflow systems such as Fuji XMF and planning software to process and manage jobs across the production pipeline. You will also support CAD design tasks for layouts, packaging, and tooling using industry-standard software.
Working closely with design, planning, and production teams, the CAD/Mac Operator will ensure all files, dimensions, and technical specifications are accurate and ready for manufacturing. You will also be responsible for maintaining organised job records, troubleshooting basic software or file issues, and ensuring company workflow standards are followed at all times.
This position would suit someone who enjoys technical work, thrives in a structured production environment, and takes pride in delivering precise and high-quality output.
Skills & Experience- Strong proficiency in Apple Mac OS and Mac-based production workflows.
- Experience using Fuji XMF software or similar workflow management systems.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of CAD/CAM design and planning.
- Experience with Arden Impact, Artios
CAD, or similar CAD software. - Understanding of technical drawings, layouts, and production specifications.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a Mac Operator, CAD Operator, or similar role.
