Maintenance Supervisor - FTC

Your new roleAs Maintenance Supervisor, you will lead a team of multi-skilled engineers responsible for both planned and reactive maintenance across a busy, advanced manufacturing site. You will ensure maintenance work is completed to a high standard, coach and support engineers, and coordinate all maintenance activity through SAP to ensure KPIs are met.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Managing and coaching maintenance teams, ensuring high levels of craftsmanship and accurate job reporting
• Coordinating workload via SAP and monitoring maintenance KPIs
• Managing equipment failure data and producing breakdown reports
• Procuring spare parts and materials for work orders
• Attending daily production meetings to prioritise activity
• Writing and reviewing maintenance procedures and risk assessments
• Carrying out full people-management responsibilities

What you'll need to succeed

• A 4-year time-served apprenticeship (mechanical bias preferred)
• Mechanical engineering experience within a maintenance workshop environment
• IOSH Managing Safely (essential)
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to support and develop engineering teams
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment (desirable)
• Experience using SAP for maintenance management (desirable)
