Manufacturing Nights Supervisor

Location: Bridlington, UK
Salary: £36,000 per year + bonus
Shift: 4 on / 4 off, 6pm – 6am
Reports to: Manufacturing Assistant Manager
Team: Manufacturing Operators

We’re recruiting for a Manufacturing Nights Supervisor to join a leading UK vitamin, mineral, and supplement manufacturer. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a night team in a fast‑paced, state‑of‑the‑art facility producing a wide range of products, from tablets and capsules to liquids and creams, all to the highest quality standards.

Role Overview

You’ll support the Manufacturing Assistant Manager in overseeing the night shift, ensuring production runs smoothly, on time, and to standard. You’ll be hands‑on, leading by example, solving issues, and driving continuous improvement across the department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead daily night team briefings, allocate work, and monitor performance.
  • Support NPD (New Product Development) and EPD (Existing Product Development) trials.
  • Manage resources, training, and development of your team.
  • Ensure compliance with BRC, ISO, Health & Safety, and company standards.
  • Identify and resolve operational issues proactively.
  • Promote a culture of high engagement, motivation, and lean manufacturing principles.
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience in manufacturing, ideally FMCG or food environments.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and coach a team.
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Good communication skills and PC literacy.
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and able to work under pressure.
