Manufacturing Operations Manager

Overview

Your new company A long‑established engineering business in Warrington is looking to appoint an experienced Manufacturing Manager to lead operations across a fast‑paced, high‑mix production environment.

This is a key role within a growing organisation, offering the scope to shape processes, drive performance, and influence long‑term strategy.

• Leading and developing a multi‑disciplinary production team
• Driving OEE, productivity, and quality improvements
• Implementing lean manufacturing tools and best practice
• Ensuring compliance with H&S and regulatory standards
• Supporting NPI and engineering change activity
• Managing KPIs, resource planning, and performance reviews

• Proven experience in a manufacturing leadership role within engineering or industrial production
• Strong understanding of lean methodologies and modern manufacturing principles
• A hands‑on leadership style with the ability to motivate and influence teams
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills
• A proactive approach to continuous improvement and operational efficiency
