Newcastle-Under-Lyme, ST5

Monday to Thursday 8am-4:30pm, Friday 8am-12:30pm

Our client is a leader in delivering high performance cable assemblies into some of the most challenging environments. Brand new vacancies available for this client for hardworking, driven individuals. All the cable assemblies are built to meet or exceed the acceptance criteria of this standard, including Class 3 High Performance Electronic Products for critical systems often required in Military, Aerospace and Medical applications.

• Manufacture and build items in compliance with IPC/WHMA-620 requirements
• Cutting & stripping of wires
• Crimp & solder terminations
• Handling and application of electronic components
• Handling and application of heat shrink products and associated adhesives
• Understanding of production drawings and documentation for wire/harness/electromechanical products
• Ability to read and follow documented build procedures

The ideal candidate will understand production drawings and documentation of wire harness/ electromechanical products. The ability to read and follow documented build procedures. Experience in manufacture of military / defence & other rugged / harsh environment cable harness & electromechanical products.

Ideally trained to IPC
620 Class 3 application, however, training will be arranged for employees initially if required. Follow up training provided annually.

This role is due to start immediately for the successful candidate.
