Job Overview

We have a stand‑out opportunity to join a leading specialist printing company that specialises in advanced digital printing techniques worldwide. The role is part of the Senior Management Team, responsible for the day‑to‑day operational performance of the facility.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will ensure effective people management across printing, warehousing and despatch departments and work alongside the MD to develop the Operations strategy in line with wider business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and develop a team that plans, implements and delivers against operational targets.
  • Support business objectives to significantly increase growth.
  • Report operations activities against defined KPIs to the business on a quarterly basis.
  • Manage the Operations budget.
  • Maintain full control of the production plan to ensure an efficient and effective schedule for Operations.
  • Champion Safety Culture and implement policy.
  • Deliver and define KPIs for each department within remit.
  • Monitor quality and develop MIS systems.
  • Ensure financial targets and other agreed targets are met in all departments.
  • Enforce adherence to safety regulations at all times.
  • Motivate employees and organise appropriate training.
  • Operate the business in line with the company’s mission statement.
  • Investigate customer satisfaction levels and report any issues with corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with department heads and senior management to deliver best‑in‑class performance.
  • Partner with HR to manage employee relations matters.
  • Review and approve equipment needs to minimise downtime due to malfunctions.
Qualifications & Experience

• Must have experience leading, managing and developing a team in a high‑performing, high‑volume creative environment.

• Demonstrable exposure to LEAN and KAIZEN;
Six‑Sigma Green Belt is highly desirable.

• Highly self‑motivated with strong focus and drive to meet goals and deadlines.

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to think creatively.
