Location: Newcastle
Office Attendance: Our roles are hybrid once training completed; you should be able to travel to the Newcastle office 2 days per week for this position
Shift: Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 4.30pm

The Role- Leading and managing CBS Assistants to ensure all administrative tasks are completed accurately, on time, and in line with departmental processes and regulatory standards.
- Maintaining and developing your own and your team’s technical knowledge to support excellent service delivery across Home and Car Claims.
- Be able to demonstrate managing multiple work streams at once and being able to adapt and change priorities as required.
- Managing recruitment, performance management, coaching, development, absence, and all people processes for your team.
- Ensuring operational compliance with FCA, Data Protection Act, mandatory processes, and all procedural requirements.
- Conducting regular quality audits, providing feedback, and taking corrective action where needed.
- Identifying appropriate resolutions, liaising with suppliers or internal stakeholders accordingly.
- Overseeing workflow to ensure daily tasks such as data input, document handling, and supplier portal activity are completed to required standards.
- Producing accurate and timely reports aligned to business requirements.
- Identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for continuous improvement within CBS processes and contributing to wider operational enhancements.
- Proven experience managing, developing and motivating people, including coaching, performance management, and supporting development.
- Strong communication skills, able to tailor your approach to different audiences.
- Ability to maintain high accuracy and efficiency in operational processes.
- Knowledge of or experience working in a regulated environment, including compliance and governance awareness.
- Strong organisation and prioritisation skills, comfortable managing multiple workflows.
- Ability to use multiple systems confidently, including various company portals and Microsoft Office applications.
- Good judgement and decision-making capability, even under pressure.
