Location: Newcastle upon Tyne

IT Project Manager Hampshire - Hybrid - 1/2 days per week on-site
Contract - £500 - £590 P/D Inside IR35

We are seeking an IT Project Manager to join an established team within a growing company based in Hampshire. This position will play a critical role in managing and delivering projects through third-party vendors. The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management with a focus on vendor management, financial control, risk management, and problem-solving. This is not a hands-on development role but a strategic management position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with third-party vendors to shape, manage, and deliver IT projects successfully.
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of the project, ensuring that third parties are effectively managed and aligned with project goals.
  • Lead and coordinate with multiple stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners.
  • Implement strong financial control practices to ensure projects stay on budget.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Use excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate challenges and drive project success.
  • Key Requirements:
  • Proven and demonstrable experience using 3rd parties to deliver projects.
  • Extensive, demonstrable 3rd Party vendor management.
  • Strong financial control skills with the ability to manage budgets and ensure projects are delivered within cost constraints.
  • Exceptional risk management experience with the ability to anticipate and mitigate potential project risks.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to break down complex problems and develop practical solutions.
  • A solid understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence and manage relationships with third-party vendors and internal teams.

  • Experience in working with technology and IT projects.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and software.
