Regional Director – Labour North

Location:

Newcastle, Labour North Regional Office.

Salary: £76,773.78 (gross) per annum, with a fixed sum allowance of £2,764 and a car allowance of £5,000 (gross per annum), subject to internal checks.

Duration:
Permanent (subject to full driving licence and compliant vehicle).

Reporting to the Executive Director Nations and Regions, the post-holder will be responsible for the effective and efficient organisation of the Labour Party within the Region.

Responsibilities and

Qualifications:

• Experience of strategic management.
• Experience of dealing with the media.
• Ability to work proactively with a variety of stakeholders including politicians, local parties, affiliated organisations and external agencies.
• Experience of setting and monitoring effective targets.
• Full UK driving licence and ownership of a compliant vehicle (or commitment to obtain both within 12 months of start date).
