Responsibilities
  • Support capture planning and pursue client‑focused solutions with unit teams.
  • Lead proposal governance, ensuring best‑practice processes are embedded across diverse pursuits.
  • Manage proposal team performance and delivery, escalating issues proactively.
  • Own the creation of compelling responses, from storyboarding to final drafting and review.
  • Contribute to the regional win community by sharing best practice and driving improvement initiatives.
Candidate Specification Essential
  • Experience managing bids within the infrastructure sector.
  • Understanding of public and sector procurement processes.
  • Proven ability to implement bid planning, management and control techniques.
  • Strong collaborative skills and capability to build relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, producing high‑quality deliverables.
Desirable
  • APMP qualification or membership (preferably at foundation level).
  • Training in proposal or behavioural frameworks (e.g., Shipley, Miller Heiman, Mindflick).
  • Proficiency in relevant systems (CRM, knowledge‑management, AI tools).
  • Persuasive and persistent communication style that wins stakeholder support.
