The reality of the role
We’re hiring for either a Paralegal or Qualified Solicitor who actually understands credit hire, not someone who’s skimmed it once and moved on.

You’ll take ownership of a fast-track credit hire litigation caseload. This is busy, technical and deadline-driven, but properly supported and ideal for someone ready to step up and sharpen their reputation in credit hire.

What you’ll be doing day to day

• Running fast-track credit hire litigation files from start to finish

• Making early calls on case progression, strategy and settlement

• Managing limitation dates, CMCs, assessments and trial timetables

• Dealing directly with clients, insurers, courts and other solicitors

• Preparing matters for issue and seeing them through litigation

• Negotiating settlements with a commercial head on

• Getting into the weeds on rate, need, period and enforce ability

• Keeping stakeholders updated without being chased

What you need to bring

Proven credit hire experience, this is non-negotiable

• Strong handle on liability, causation and quantum

• Confident drafting pleadings and schedules of loss

• Organised, proactive and comfortable managing competing deadlines

• Clear communicator with solid client care skills
• A team-first mindset, not a lone-wolf act
