The Role

We have a vacancy for a Litigation Support Assistant role within the Claimant Personal Injury department. The successful candidate will work in the Personal Injury team assisting claims handlers and case administration.

Key Duties Include
  • Taking Initial Personal Injury Enquiries and setting up new files, following allocation;
  • Supporting claims handlers with various aspects of case administration and some preparation including collation and sorting of documentary evidence, schedules and related documents.
  • Organising all aspects of case meetings and conferences (and liaising with various third parties for this purpose);
  • Liaising with clients, witnesses and various professionals (including Counsel, Experts and Case Managers/Therapists),
  • Supporting case handlers with liability and quantum investigations (including collation of medical, therapy, employment and case management documentation, obtaining medical and other expert evidence)
  • Supporting the case handlers with requesting, sorting and reviewing medical, DWP and other records;
  • Assisting other team members and applying a proactive approach on a case by case basis to achieve the very best outcome for the client, and ensuring compliance with Court timetables
