About the RoleWe are seeking a Technical Business Analyst to join our software delivery team. In this role, you will act as the vital bridge between business stakeholders and technical development teams, translating high-level business requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications.
You will ensure that all solutions are aligned with user needs, technical constraints, and overarching business goals, contributing directly to the success of complex software delivery projects.
Key Responsibilities- Requirement Elicitation: Bridge the gap between IT and the business using data analytics to assess processes, elicit requirements, and deliver data-driven recommendations to stakeholders.
- Technical Documentation: Create functional designs, sequence diagrams, process flows, and business rules catalogues.
- Backlog Management: Develop product backlog items to communicate requirements clearly to feature teams for development and testing.
- Impact Assessment: Identify and analyze complex business impacts across multiple streams to understand the effect of product changes.
- Implementation Support: Prepare and coordinate business activities for large-scale implementations and ensure operational readiness for target operating models.
- Change Leadership: Lead business change activities, including designing communication and training plans.

Support testing phases by reviewing scripts, triaging defects, and assisting with technical test queries. - Agile Facilitation: Participate in and facilitate Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Refinement, Stand-ups) and assist in prioritizing the backlog based on value and risk.
- Experience: 1.5–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst within a software delivery or technology environment.
- Methodologies: Solid understanding of Agile (Scrum/Kanban) or Waterfall delivery frameworks.
- Technical Literacy: Basic understanding of APIs, databases, and system integration concepts.
- Data Analysis: Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and transformation; ability to analyze large datasets to identify trends and validate requirements.
- Tools: Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, or Excel
. - Solution Design: Experience utilizing structured techniques such as Design Thinking, UML, or BPMN
. - Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to operate independently in customer-facing roles, taking stakeholders on the journey of requirements identification.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience delivering change within the Public Sector or other highly regulated industries.
- Cloud & AI: Familiarity with enterprise platforms, cloud technologies (AWS, Azure), or GenAI.
- UX/UI: Understanding of UX principles or wire framing tools (Figma, Balsamiq).
- Certification: Professional Business Analysis Certification (e.g., BCS, IIBA).
