User Researcher - Mid & Senior's

Stealth IT Consulting are currently supporting a huge player within the digital consulting world and we are looking for User Researcher's to make an impact within the Design team! This is an opportunity to develop and grow, working with major clients in both public and private sector (including DWP, NHS Digital, BP, Shell, Barclays and Ikea).

This role is mainly remote with occasional travel dependant on your client project, this will be either London, Manchester, Newcastle or Glasgow. Frequency of travel can range from remote to 1/2x per month in office.

You will champion inclusive design practices throughout project life cycles, ensuring solutions are accessible to as many users as possible. This includes engaging with diverse user research, applying accessibility guidelines and legislation, and advocating for inclusive design principles in your deliverables.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Hands-on experience of leading user research, using behavioural and attitudinal methods and knowing when to apply them appropriately.
• Experience across multiple phases of a product or service lifecycle, from discovery and exploration through to design and delivery.
• Experience working with Government Digital Service (GDS) service standards, using GDS design principles
• Strong storytelling, communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills.
• Experience working in multi-disciplinary, agile teams where you’ve led the user research and influenced the design of a product or service through the insights you’ve gathered.
• Familiarity with using prototypes to test hypotheses, assumptions and validate user journeys.
• Understanding of a range of tools and practices for in-person and remote research.
