38 hours

  • Mon–Thu: 7:00–16:00
  • Fri: 7:00–14:00
  • Holiday: 25 days + bank holidays
  • Bonus: 6.67% – up to 13.34%
Role Overview

We are recruiting a Senior Escalator Technician to join our Heathrow team. This is a Grade 6, technical troubleshooter role for an experienced escalator professional who can diagnose complex faults, support engineers on site, and ensure safe and reliable operation in a high‑profile airport environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advanced fault finding and troubleshooting on escalators
  • Technical support to field engineers and service teams
  • Major repairs, adjustments, and reliability improvements
  • Ensure compliance with KONE safety standards and Heathrow procedures
  • Accurate reporting using KONE digital systems
  • Support and mentor junior engineers
Essential Requirements
  • NVQ Level 4 in Escalator Engineering – essential
  • Strong escalator technical and electrical knowledge
  • Proven experience in complex diagnostics
  • Ability to read schematics and technical drawings
  • Customer-focused with good communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence & ability to obtain Heathrow clearance
