Azure - Practice Architect

We are seeking a dynamic technology leader to join our Azure Platform team as a Sr Architect. This role will be pivotal in building and delivering Azure cloud capabilities and solutions to internal and external clients ensuring the successful transformation of legacy platforms and workloads into robust, scalable, and modern cloud-based workloads and services.

The ideal candidate will bring their deep expertise in Application rationalization, App Migration/Modernization, Dev Ops and Cloud services architecture, presales, delivery, and operational excellence. You will provide expert level support for strategic ongoing and new TGS customer initiatives. You will work amongst our other key partners to assist in the development of robust cloud offerings and bring holistic solutions across key focus areas of Application Migrations & Modernizations.

This role may require up to 50% travel.

In this role, you will lead development of Azure Cloud Modernization offerings for customers' Cloud-native and Cloud-agnostic needs focused on accelerated public cloud adoption. This includes but is not limited to use‑cases such as cloud foundations, cloud migration at scale, modern container platforms, infrastructure automation, Azure Cloud services adoption, Azure Cloud security, Azure Dev Sec Ops  etc.

• You will leverage your in-depth expertise in Azure public cloud platform and its services, staying updated on the latest advancements on tools and services available in the market, and guiding the team in applying best practices to build an offering that can be delivered to customer at scale.
• You will be responsible for developing and managing Azure Platform capabilities go‑to‑market strategy and prioritization.

As a leader of the Azure program, you are required to drive innovation and the adoption of best practices in Azure cloud adoption, ensuring our solutions are at the forefront of industry standards.

In this role, you will partner with TGS Sales team to engage with TEKsystems customers to understand their technical challenges and provide expert solution and architectural pathways to achieve modernization goals. You will work closely with customer leadership, solution architects and sales to ensure the right solution is provided to solve customer needs.

• As an Azure Sr Architect, you will be responsible for Azure offerings and will be held accountable for providing oversight during presales cycle ensuring alignment with client goals and industry standards.
• You will collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements, challenges, and goals related to Application and data modernization, including modernization, automation, and data including AI, and generative AI initiatives.
• As an Azure Sr Architect, you will be responsible for identifying, scoping, and creating solutions/proposals that encompass technical approach and estimates.
• You will bring thought leadership, current industry know‑how and applied solutions to improve existing service capabilities, engagement and delivery challenges and any research and development activities.

• As an Azure Sr Architect, you will be responsible for providing oversight to delivery teams and will play a crucial role in managing customer expectations and technical escalations if any.
• Provide thought leadership to executive stakeholders in areas of Cloud Enablement, App Migration/Modernization programs & Dev Ops adoption.

• As an Azure Sr Architect, you will establish an operating model for enterprise customers with the combination of standard processes, best practices, and tools to deliver end‑to‑end applications and infrastructure solutions safely and at velocity.
• You are expected to lead/implement cloud‑native Microsoft Azure Application Modernization initiatives with software delivery leveraging Dev Ops, Data Platform and Integration Solutions.
