DevOps Engineer

A global technology consultancy is expanding its engineering teams in Newcastle and is seeking Dev Ops Engineers to support large-scale cloud and digital transformation programmes.

This role focuses on building automated, scalable delivery pipelines and improving platform reliability across modern cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation tooling
• Support cloud infrastructure and platform reliability
• Implement Infrastructure as Code and configuration management
• Collaborate with engineering teams to enable faster, safer releases
• Drive Dev Ops best practices across agile delivery teams

Qualifications and Skills

• Commercial Dev Ops or platform engineering experience
• Strong CI/CD knowledge (Azure Dev Ops, Jenkins, Git Hub Actions or similar)
• Cloud experience (AWS, Azure or GCP)
• Infrastructure as Code exposure (Terraform, ARM, Cloud Formation)
• Containerisation and orchestration experience (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills
