Job Description

This role is for a skilled Azure Developer/Engineer to focus on the, implementation, development, and delivery of serverless and integration solutions using Azure technologies, primarily Azure Functions and Logic Apps in the Utilities B2C market. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience of SDLC within an Azure Dev Ops environment and potentially bring valuable experience in Dev Ops practices, including pipeline creation and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Azure Development & Integration
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy robust and scalable Azure Function Apps (using languages like C#, Python, or JavaScript) for event‑driven and compute‑intensive tasks.
  • Create and manage Azure Logic Apps for orchestrating complex business processes, system integrations, and workflow automation.
  • Work with the prototyping and component‑level creation of new Azure services and features to meet project requirements.
  • Implement security best practices within Azure solutions, including managed identities, Key Vault integration, and network security.
  • Delivery & Azure Dev Ops
  • Manage and contribute to the end‑to‑end delivery of solutions within an Azure Dev Ops framework (Boards, Repos, Pipelines, Artifacts).
  • Ensure high quality and maintainability of code through rigorous code reviews and adherence to best practices.
  • Collaborate with product owners, architects, and other team members to translate requirements into technical designs.
  • Dev Ops & Automation (Beneficial Experience)
  • Design and implement Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using YAML for automated build, test, and deployment of Azure resources and application code.
  • Maintain and enhance existing deployment scripts and infrastructure‑as‑code (IaC) templates (e.g., ARM Templates, Bicep, or Terraform).
  • Monitor and troubleshoot production environments and pipelines to ensure stability and performance.
Required Skills & Experience
  • · Proven experience in developing, deploying, and managing Azure Function Apps (Consumption and Premium plans).
  • · Strong experience in designing and implementing integration solutions using Azure Logic Apps.
  • · Familiarity with the fundamental components and prototypes involved in constructing serverless and integration solutions in Azure.
  • · Solid understanding and practical experience working within the Azure Dev Ops ecosystem (Repos, Pipelines, Boards).
  • · Proficiency with cloud service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and core Azure services (e.g., Storage Accounts, Service Bus, Event Grid).
Highly Desirable (Beneficial) Skills & Experience
  • · Hands‑on experience writing and deploying CI/CD pipelines using YAML within Azure Dev Ops.
  • · Experience with Infrastructure‑as‑Code (IaC) tools such as ARM Templates, Bicep, or Terraform.
  • · Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes/AKS).
  • · Knowledge of Azure monitoring tools (Application Insights, Log Analytics).
  • · Relevant Microsoft Azure Certifications (e.g., Azure Developer Associate, Azure Dev Ops Engineer Expert).
