Do you want to shape secure, scalable infrastructure in an Azure environment?
Can you bring structure, support, and clear direction to a skilled technical team?
I am working with a Housing Association based in Newcastle to recruit for a Cloud Infrastructure and Security Lead to join an established technical team and lead them through meaningful digital transformation.
This isn't a role buried in technical firefighting. You’ll be leading from the front, coaching, mentoring, and growing your team while fostering a collaborative, high-trust culture. With established technical capabilities already in-house, the focus is on people: guiding your team through change, developing their capabilities, and helping shape the future of infrastructure, cloud, and security services across the organisation.
Requirements:
- Experience leading and managing technical teams, ideally within infrastructure and cloud-based services.
- Strong understanding of Azure, Security, and Networking.
- Leadership style that develops people, brings clarity, and fosters a high-performing team.
What’s in it for you?
- Real Leadership Influence:
Reporting directly to the Head of ICT & Digital, you'll help shape strategy, build team culture, and futureproof digital services. - A Supportive Environment:
Join a leadership team that values openness, honesty, and personality. You won't be alone. - Modern Tech Stack:
Fully cloud-supported on Azure, working with technologies like Microsoft Intune, AVD, and Cisco networking. Responsible for security in the digital transformation. - A Culture That Cares:
Prioritising wellbeing, inclusion, and team development. Bring your ideas and drive positive change.
This is a hybrid role working 3 days a week onsite in Newcastle.
