Site Reliability Engineer role at Tribal Group
. Remote UK-based opportunity.

This is a full-time remote role focused on maintaining reliable, scalable, and high-performance SaaS services across cloud environments.

• Design, build, and operate large-scale systems with emphasis on reliability, efficiency, and automation
• Maintain and improve production systems for availability, latency, and scalability
• Support application deployment and configuration to production environments
• Build or enhance automation tools (Ansible, scripts, utilities)
• Implement and manage observability tools (Data Dog, New Relic, Azure Monitor)
• Analyze logs and metrics to identify trends and improve reliability
• Support incident response and perform root-cause analysis
• Collaborate with engineering and customer teams to deliver proactive, preventative support
• Participate in on-call rotations in line with Tribal’s On-Call Policy

This is a full-time, remote UK-based role, with occasional national travel for team collaboration or customer engagements.

• Strong experience with AWS (or Azure) environments
• Solid knowledge of Linux, Apache, and PHP in production contexts
• Familiarity with automation/configuration tools such as Ansible
• Experience with monitoring and logging platforms (Data Dog, New Relic, Azure Monitor)
• Good understanding of database fundamentals (SQL Server / Oracle)
• Hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Customer-facing experience with incident or service management tools (Remedy Force, Service Now)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to translate technical details clearly

Nice-to-have:

• Experience coding or scripting (Python, Power Shell, or Bash)
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Azure Dev Ops or similar)
• ITIL Foundation or cloud certifications (AWS Sys Ops Administrator, AWS Solutions Architect)
