We are looking for a Fixed Term Test Analyst to join us on the Next-Generation SAP project. We have kicked off the project to upgrade our current SAP systems to the next generation. The role of a test analyst on this project is: to understand what the requirements of the business are for the new solution, create test scenarios based upon how the new solution will meet the business requirements, execute scripted test cases and capture test evidence, log and report any issues in the form of defects, report test results and progress to key stakeholders in the project.

- This is a full-time, 12 Month Fixed Term role

Ideally, you’ll live within one hour travel of this area
- Script, execute, and maintain manual test cases in Microsoft Azure Dev Ops based on functional and technical specifications.
- Perform system, integration, and regression testing.
- Identify and track defects using Microsoft Azure Dev Ops, and support with re-test and closure.
- Collaborate closely with developers, functional consultants, and Greggs business leads to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
- Peer reviewing test cases to ensure scripting standards and good test coverage is being met.
- We are looking for someone that is highly skilled in the testing arena who has worked at a senior level for at least 2 years
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Clear and effective communication skills.
- Be very knowledgeable in testing fundamentals (such as Risk-based testing approach) and ‘shift left’ testing principles
- Proficiency with test management tools (e.g. Microsoft Azure Dev Ops, JIRA, HP ALM, Test Rail).
- Values collaboration and teamwork, has a desire to contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing team
- Are self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure and using own initiative
- Have strong analytical and problem solving skills with experience of analysing information and issues to identify current and potential problems and develop and implement workable solutions
