Product Development Manager

Salary c £40,000 - £45,000

We are currently supporting a fast-growing health and nutrition business in its search for a New Product Development Manager
. The company has seen a huge amount of growth in recent years, and is in the process of moving to a new state-of-the-art facility.

The New Product Development Manager will take ownership of new product creation across protein, sports nutrition, and functional supplement categories from concept through to commercial launch. Working cross-functionally with suppliers, production partners, and internal teams, you will drive the innovation pipeline and help bring market-leading products to life.

Key responsibilities include researching emerging trends, formulating new products, managing trials and testing, ensuring compliance with food and supplement regulations, and collaborating with marketing to deliver successful launches. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on developer with a passion for health, fitness, and innovation in nutrition.

The successful New Product Development Manager will demonstrate the following:

• Degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Chemistry, or related discipline.
• Proven experience developing products within food, sports nutrition, or dietary supplements.
• Good understanding of food regulations, labelling laws, and supplement compliance.
• Strong project management and organisational abilities.
• A creative and commercially minded approach to innovation.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
