ROLE

The Service Now Tech PM is responsible for end‑to‑end delivery of Service Now projects, ensuring technical integrity, governance compliance, and alignment with client objectives. This role bridges technical implementation and project management, requiring strong knowledge of Service Now modules and ITIL processes.

In this role you will play a key role in:

  • Project Delivery & Governance
    • Manage scope, timelines, and budgets for Service Now implementations.
    • Ensure adherence to Capgemini and client governance frameworks.
    • Conduct risk assessments and maintain compliance with security and audit standards.
  • Technical Leadership
    • Oversee configuration, customization, and integration of Service Now modules (SPM, ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, IRM).
    • Guide technical teams on scripting (Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies) and workflow automation.
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
    • Facilitate workshops for requirements gathering and solution design.
  • Quality Assurance
    • Drive UAT, performance testing, and defect resolution.
    • Ensure documentation and knowledge transfer for operational readiness.

YOUR PROFILE
  • Technical Expertise
  • 5+ strong hands‑on experience with Service Now platform administration and development.
  • Deep understanding of Service Now modules: SPM, ITSM, HRSD, IRM.
  • Ability to oversee configuration, customization, and integrations.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and Service Now best practices.
  • Project Management
  • Proven track record in managing enterprise‑scale Service Now projects.
  • Proficiency in Agile and Waterfall delivery models.
  • PRINCE2 and PMP certifications preferred.
  • Ability to manage risk, ensure audit readiness, and maintain delivery KPIs.
  • Skilled in facilitating workshops, requirement gathering, and managing client expectations.
  • Leadership & Soft Skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication for cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Analytical mindset to resolve technical and operational challenges.
  • Experience leading multi‑disciplinary teams and coordinating resources.
  • Certifications & Continuous Learning
  • Service Now certifications (CSA, ITSM, ITOM, HRSD) and micro‑certifications would be preferred.
  • ITIL, PMP, PRINCE2 for governance and delivery excellence.
  • Ongoing upskilling through Service Now University and internal enablement programs.
  • Optional
  • Currently working in a major Consulting firm, and/or in industry but having a Consulting background.
  • Proven ability to be successful in a matrixed organisation, and to enlist support and commitment from peers in selling and delivering consulting solutions.
  • Experience of proposition building and delivery.
  • Business development – utilising a combination of the organisation’s broader pre‑existing relationships, company relationships and your own network.
