Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals have an exciting opportunity for a full time Catering Supervisor to work within the RVI Catering Departments Team of the Year 2022.
The role is based at the Royal Victoria Infirmary Catering Department, working 37.5 hours a week, 5 days over 7 on rotational roster working 2 weekends our of 3. You will be working as a part of a small supervisory team under the direction of a Senior Supervisor to ensure the smooth running of the department. You will be working between 6.00am and 14.00pm and 12.00pm to 20.00pm on a 3-week rotational roster.

Main duties of the jobYour main Duties will include:
Knowledge and Experience with a broad range of cooking methods would be an advantage along with being qualified to City & Guilds 706/2 or NVQ Level 3 in Food Preparation and also have Level 2 Food Hygiene qualification, or have the relevant experience in large scale catering.
A working supervisory role with responsibilities for a food production/service shift with the emphasis on food hygiene and safety standards, quality control and supervisory management.
