We are on the look out for a Events and Memberships Manager to join the growing team at Hotel Gotham Newcastle!

Call it what you like – but what we’re really after is someone to put the HOT into HOTEL.

You see, when we launched the first Hotel Gotham in Manchester, it was billed as ‘Europe’s sexiest hotel’. Now it’s Newcastle’s time to enjoy the Gotham effect. So, whoever takes on this role will be developing more than just business. Gotham is a way of life. A vibe. A 5-star-studded, theatrical, vibrant, stylish, dramatic experience – for guests and staff.

You’ll Need To Be Energetic, Charming, Proactive And Entrepreneurial. A Bit Of a Multi-tasking Marvel. And You’ll Have The Experience, Ability And Determination To

• Quickly attune yourself to the Hotel Gotham and Bespoke Hotels brands
• Develop and execute a winning strategy for growing events and memberships within Hotel Gotham.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through positive relationships with corporate accounts, travel agencies, and key industry players.
• Conduct and act on market research, competitor analysis and performance metrics.
• Represent Hotel Gotham at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.

You’ll also have …

• Proven experience in event sales, or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
• Proven communication, negotiation, time-management and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
