Overview
Due to our evolving care and lifestyle delivery, we are looking for passionate Care Assistants to join our growing care team.
Location:
Across Tyne and Wear & North Yorkshire areas. A valid full UK driving licence and use of your own vehicle is essential to be considered for this role. Travel expenses are covered, mileage paid at 43p per mile. Hourly rate: £14.50 per hour, plus up to £1.30 for evening and weekend hours.
Hours:
Various contracted hours available to discuss to 35 hours per week on a rota basis, including mornings, evenings and alternate weekends, between 7am and 10pm.

About the RoleThis is a dual role consisting of Personal Care and Domestic Services. You’ll work closely with the Field Care Supervisor, House Managers and Care Performance Manager to deliver personal bespoke care and lifestyle services. This could include assisting with personal care, household tasks, offering companionship, and supporting wellbeing activities. There is an expectation to ensure communal areas are cleaned regularly too.
This is a mobile field-based role to grow our care service, so there is a requirement to travel between our developments. Parking will be available at each site.
Key Responsibilities- Support Individual Homeowners: provide personalised care, including help with daily activities, personal hygiene, and medication assistance. Provide domestic support such as cleaning, shopping, and managing household tasks.
- Domestic:
Maintain communal areas within our developments to a high standard, ensuring a clean, tidy, and welcoming environment for all homeowners. - Social Support: assist homeowners with social activities, transport arrangements, and attending appointments, enhancing their well-being and social connections.
- Skills & Experience:
Ideally you will have previous experience in a care environment with a Level 2 Health and Social Care qualification. This is not essential as training is provided for a career change. You must have strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and the ability to manage your time effectively. - Driving Licence: A valid full UK driving licence is required, with a willingness to travel between developments.
- Flexibility:
Ability to work on a rota basis including early mornings, late shifts and alternate weekends.
- Travel Expenses Covered:
Use your personal car for work with travel expenses reimbursed and parking available on site. Mileage paid per mile. - Uniform and mobile phone provided.
- Professional Development:
