We take routine and emergency admissions for cardiac surgery, bridging to transplant (ventricular assist devices), heart/lung transplant and ECMO (Extra Corporeal Membrane Oxygenation). We are one of only two centres in the United Kingdom who can carry out heart/lung transplantation in children.
Main duties of the job- Post holder will be expected to contribute to housekeeping and other ward/department duties as required, e.g. general tidiness, re-determined stock levels are met and clinical equipment is clean, working and stored correctly.

With around 2 million contacts with patients every year, we deliver care from:

These include a range of flagship services which deliver cutting-edge care (supported by state-of-the-art diagnostic services in both radiology and pathology) and are a catalyst for innovation to support pioneering clinical practice in the NHS.
